Kristi Sebestyen

Since joining Jasculca Terman in 2001, Kristi has worked on numerous high-profile local, national and international events.

Kristi served as site lead advance in Nigeria for President Jimmy Carter's February 2007 trip to Africa with the Carter Center, coordinating logistics with local vendors (hotel, ground transportation, etc.), as well as the United States Secret Service. In April and December 2008 and May 2009, Kristi served as site lead advance in Syria for President Carter’s trip to the Middle East. On each of these trips, she served as coordinator between members of the U.S. Embassy, Syrian government, United States Secret Service and other local Syrian representatives. Kristi also served as site lead advance in Lebanon for President Carter during The Carter Center’s election monitoring in May 2009.

Since 2005, Kristi has worked closely on event management for the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Richard J. Daley Forum, including serving as speaker logistics coordinator, coordinating travel for dozens of speakers from throughout the United States and around the world. The 2009 Forum featured a keynote address by Vice President Joe Biden and in 2010, former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel participated in the panels throughout the event day. Recently, JT managed the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Opportunities Forum, which included a two-day high-level business conference, 12 community events and an evening dinner. During these events Kristi coordinated all event logistics at the IMAX theatre at Navy Pier, the site of three showings of an IMAX film on Saudi Arabia. Outside of JT, you’ll find Kristi spending time with her friends. Kristi earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from DePaul University.
