Marci May

Vice President, Client Strategies

Since joining Jasculca Terman in 2001, Marci has managed public affairs, media outreach and communications campaigns for a diverse range of corporate, public and non-profit clients.

For three straight years, she has served as campaign manager for Earth Hour in Chicago, part of a worldwide event developed by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to “turn the lights out” to inspire long-term action on climate change. Marci also works with Exelon Corporation, creating communications materials for the company’s nuclear unit and managing the Exelon speakers bureau.

For many years, Marci has worked with DeVry on a wide range of strategic initiatives, including media relations, grassroots advocacy programs, website development, and civic engagement strategy. In 2005, she lead media logistics and management for the grand opening of the Mohammed Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky which drew dignitaries such as President Clinton, Angelina Jolie, Jim Carey and media from around the world.

Outside of JT, Marci enjoys travelling to far-flung destinations as well as biking, gardening and reading. She holds a master’s degree in literature from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

What is one thing Marci’s JT co-workers may not know about her?

Marci was a competitive figure skater when growing up, and she still finds time to don her skates for a spin around the ice every now and again.
