Facebook recently announced a major change to its News Feed algorithm, which determines the content users will see as they scroll through their newsfeeds. The change will prioritize posts from users’ friends and family that inspire a two-way conversation over content from news outlets, companies and organizations. JT was retained by a group of six nonprofit agencies in Illinois that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The General Assembly had passed a DSP wage increase in 2016 only to see it vetoed by the Governor. JT’s goal: Avoid the same fate in 2017.
