On May 6, JT helped Chicago-based WomenOnCall host its first signature event in Seattle. The Meet and Match, hosted by Starbucks Women’s Network, connected Seattle women looking to volunteer their professional skills with area non-profits that had specific skills-based volunteer projects.
On May 6, JT provided media and event support to Blessings in a Backpack – a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry – for an event at St. Malachy School on the city’s near west side.
JT was proud to play a role in the release of The Chicago Community Trust’s Giving in Chicago report, the first comprehensive study of individual, corporate and foundation giving in the six-county metropolitan Chicago region that examines patterns of charitable giving by households and corporations across Chicagoland.
