Office Clerk/Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a qualified, highly motivated individual who will work as an Office Clerk/Accounts Payable Specialist in our Accounting Department. Responsibilities include auditing and approving staff expense reports, auditing and entering vendor invoices, generating monthly expense invoices that are sent to clients, communicating directly with vendors and account staff; general administrative work and receptionist coverage. Performance will be based on the timeliness and accuracy of the expense reports and vendor invoices that are entered and paid; and vendor and account staff satisfaction. The qualified individual should have previous accounts payable/administrative work experience (minimum of two years), preferably with a service-oriented company. The individual must have good written, verbal, and analytical skills; as well as, be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and under time constraints. Previous experience with time and billing software would be beneficial. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Director of Digital Strategies

We are looking for a seasoned, successful digital strategist with a proven track-record of leading clients through digital transformations to meet the challenges of a mobile-first world. Someone who has developed and implemented creative social media campaigns designed to engage target audiences, raise awareness of issues and motivate action. Has led both successful and failed campaigns and understands what went well and how to improve upon what did not work. Has managed web designers and programmers in building websites. Has established metrics and is able to clearly report results to clients. Ideal candidate has a background in public affairs and issues management. As a regular reader of industry and world publications, is just as likely to spend a weekend afternoon digesting the latest Wired as they are the New York Times. As an active member of professional networks that support innovation in the digital space, ideal candidate is continuously monitoring digital/social media trends and thinks creatively and proactively about how to translate those trends into client opportunities. Able to manage multiple projects in different subject areas simultaneously.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Serve as a core member of client project teams, responsible for conceptualizing and creating digital and social media campaigns. Client needs vary from those who need help building a social infrastructure to those with robust social media platforms in need of creative strategies to leverage and/or take their activities to the next level.

• Contribute ideas and written content to new business proposals.

• Manage third-party designers and programmers to build client websites. Serve as a collaborative creative partner and project manager to ensure timelines and budgets are met.

• Develop strategies to better leverage JT’s social platforms as a business development tool. Implementation will be managed by junior member of digital team.

• Identify speaking opportunities to showcase expertise and further enhance the JT brand.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree.

• Has held a management level position.

Experience

• Five to seven years of experience in digital strategies with a progressive career track demonstrating increased levels of responsibility.

• Has conceptualized and implemented robust social media campaigns from start to finish.

• Ability to monitor, track and quantify impact of social media campaigns.

• Experience leading a small team and mentoring junior-level professionals.

Fall session (typically September – January)

Summer session (typically June – August)

JT account assistants perform a wide variety of tasks that include preparing client and media materials, building and maintaining databases, pitching stories to journalists, as well as copy editing and proofreading materials. They are also called upon to conduct research and staff events.

Successful candidates will:

Jasculca Terman and Associates, Inc. (JT) offers a full-time, paid Account Assistant Internship Program as part of the Digital Strategies and Engagement (DSE) team.

 

The JT DSE team is responsible for the development of digital and social growth on behalf of clients, campaigns and the firm. The team requires not just interest, but investment in digital messaging and social networking.  JT DSE Account Assistants perform a wide variety of tasks that include: writing and managing content for websites and social networking channels; developing and implementing social media strategies; researching emerging digital vendors and tools; monitoring online activity and compiling analytics for client reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience executing social media campaigns on behalf of clients, brand and/or company/organization.

  • Have experience using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Plus, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other social media platforms for posting messages, monitoring responses and providing detailed analytics results.
