Public Affairs/Public Relations Account Assistant (Internship)

Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications (JT) offers a number of full-time, paid public relations/public affairs account assistant internship program in three sessions throughout the year.

Fall session (typically September – January)

Spring session (typically February – May)

Summer session (typically June – August)

JT account assistants perform a wide variety of tasks that include preparing client and media materials, building and maintaining databases, pitching stories to journalists, as well as copy editing and proofreading materials. They are also called upon to conduct research and staff events.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Have experience pitching media and/or building media databases

  • Enjoy problem solving and research

  • Deliver quality work on a tight deadline

  • Possess a professional, highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude

Events Accounts Assistant (Internship)

 JT event account assistants perform a wide variety of tasks that include preparing client and venue research, event budgets, RSVP management, vendor outreach and staffing events.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have experience managing events

  • Have experience preparing and managing event budgets

  • Have strong interpersonal skills

  • Be available to work select nights and weekends at client events

  • Enjoy problem solving and research

  • Deliver quality work on tight deadlines

  • Possess a professional, highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude

Digital and Social Media Account Assistant (Internship)

Jasculca Terman and Associates, Inc. (JT) offers a full-time, paid Account Assistant Internship Program as part of the Digital Strategies and Engagement (DSE) team.

 

The JT DSE team is responsible for the development of digital and social growth on behalf of clients, campaigns and the firm. The team requires not just interest, but investment in digital messaging and social networking.  JT DSE Account Assistants perform a wide variety of tasks that include: writing and managing content for websites and social networking channels; developing and implementing social media strategies; researching emerging digital vendors and tools; monitoring online activity and compiling analytics for client reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience executing social media campaigns on behalf of clients, brand and/or company/organization.

  • Have experience using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Plus, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other social media platforms for posting messages, monitoring responses and providing detailed analytics results.

  • Have experience using Photoshop, Google Keywords, HTML.

  • Familiar with existing trends in digital and social media.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Enjoy problem solving, research and creative thinking to best serve clients.

  • Possess a professional, highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
