In partnership with The Chicago Community Trust, JT has been honored to receive two prestigious local awards for our work on On the Table 2014 in the past week – the Publicity Club of Chicago’s Golden Trumpet for community relations campaign and a Skyline Award for the best community relations campaign by a nonprofit/association organization from the Public Relations Society of America, Chicago.
JT worked in collaboration with the Trust on every facet of On the Table, including outreach to engage participants from every Chicago neighborhood and residential zip code, as well as from 11 different area counties. Our social media efforts led to more than 4,500 digital conversations using the hashtag #onthetable2014, and propelled us into the number one trending spot on Twitter in Chicago at and through the dinner hour May 12 and 13. We also secured coverage from nearly every major Chicago-area media outlet, including many that hosted their own On the Table discussions. Behind the scenes, JT managed the host and guest registration process, coordinated all participant communications, and helped produce content for a wealth of informational and promotional materials used to inform and educate about On the Table.
The Publicity Club of Chicago recognized JT's work at its annual awards celebration. Our work for the North American Climate Summit, the They Deserve More coalition and UCP Seguin earned three Trumpet awards.
JT worked closely with the City of Chicago and World Business Chicago to plan and implement the December 5, 2017 North American Climate Summit with mayors and senior leaders from Canada, Mexico, France and Africa.
