JT worked with HBO to promote the Chicago premiere event of the network’s new documentary film “Mavis!”, chronicling the life and influence of soul and gospel legend Mavis Staples over the last five decades. A Chicago native, the event served as a homecoming for the music icon. JT coordinated on-site interviews with Staples at the premiere as well as in-studio segments throughout the day with Mavis! director Jessica Edwards. Mavis! debuts on February 29 on HBO.
JT, worked closely with the City of Chicago and World Business Chicago to plan and implement the December 5, 2017 North American Climate Summit with mayors and senior leaders from Canada, Mexico, France and Africa.
JT was retained by Viscosity Oil Company in late July to provide a host of services in honor of its 125th anniversary year, which included: a completely revamped website, new logo, a company video, media relations and a celebratory event for customers, employees and global executive team.
Nearly 500 Chicago business, community and workforce development leaders joined honorary co-chairs Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Penny Pritzker at the Palmer House Hilton on October 6 to celebrate Skills for Chicagoland’s Future’s employer and community partners at its third annual Employment Champions Breakfast.
