JT worked with HBO to promote the Chicago premiere event of the network’s new documentary film “Mavis!”, chronicling the life and influence of soul and gospel legend Mavis Staples over the last five decades. A Chicago native, the event served as a homecoming for the music icon. JT coordinated on-site interviews with Staples at the premiere as well as in-studio segments throughout the day with Mavis! director Jessica Edwards. Mavis! debuts on February 29 on HBO.
Facebook recently announced a major change to its News Feed algorithm, which determines the content users will see as they scroll through their newsfeeds.
