I really enjoyed planning my wedding last year. Perhaps I’d be a wedding planner.
Since joining JT in 2005, Carly has played a lead role in many events and international advance-related projects, including the 2008 Democratic National Convention, the 2010 and 2011 U.S.-Saudi Business Opportunities Forums, as well as international learning trips on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Elders and the Carter Center.
Most recently, Carly has worked closely with the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Protocol to consult, strategize and coordinate event logistics for their Experience America program.
In April 2009, Carly served as the overall project manager for the inaugural gala and grand opening of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center. Carly also worked with the Museum’s education department on its inaugural academic symposium.
Previously, Carly served as scheduler and volunteer coordinator and provided advance services for Tammy Duckworth’s 2006 6th District congressional campaign.
Carly earned a bachelor’s degree in social relations from Michigan State University. She currently sits on the Young Women’s City (YWC) Council of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago.
