The 2016 Exelon Rally Day in Springfield. It was a really powerful to see over 1000 Exelon employees, family, friends and neighbors maxing out capacity of the State Capitol Building to fight for their jobs.
Emily joined JT in May 2016, bringing a strong background in media relations, digital strategy and event management to the team.
At JT, Emily contributes to a variety of clients, including BP, Uber, iBIO, Chicago Beyond and Skills for Chicagoland’s Future.
As a member of the project team for BP America, Emily provides ongoing support for government affairs, environmental and regulatory issues in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. She also works with BP to maximize the impact of the company’s community engagement and corporate social responsibility programs.
She also provides full-service communications support for Skills for Chicagoland’s Future to boost their local and national profile as an innovative nonprofit tackling unemployment and underemployment in the Chicagoland area.
Emily graduated from Miami University with a dual bachelor’s degree in journalism and strategic communications. She currently serves on the Young Associate’s Board, an affiliated organization of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago that is committed to providing support for children with brain tumors.
