Our People

Vice President

What's your most memorable JT moment?

The Nobel Summit was very surreal … from hunting down a dentist for one of the Laureates to shaking the hand of two former U.S. presidents in one day – it’s something I’ll never forget.

Katelyn joined JT in July 2010 with a strong background in media relations and crisis communications. Since then, Katelyn has worked on behalf of clients including The Chicago Community Trust, Blessings in a Backpack, the Chicago Transit Authority, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Junior Achievement USA, the 12th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, Stand for Children and The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread.

Prior to joining JT, Katelyn worked for two years as a media representative at the Chicago Transit Authority, where she served as an agency spokesperson, responding to routine media requests and coordinating messaging in crisis situations. From 2006 to 2008, Katelyn served as media relations coordinator for the Chicago Cubs. She also worked as an account coordinator at Allied Advertising/Public Relations, planning publicity and promotions in the Chicago market for major movie studios.

Katelyn graduated from Iowa State University in 2003.
