Andrew joined the firm in 2005 and today serves as a senior project manager of complex events and initiatives, leading clients from the ideation and strategy development phases through execution.

He focuses on client goals and aspirations to provide the best possible guidance, creativity and clear recommendations to achieve desired outcomes. A few examples from over the years include:

Andrew has served as project manager since 2014 for GCM Grosvenor’s annual Small Emerging Markets (SEM) Conference held in Chicago hosting more than 800 attendees. SEM has grown into a two-day conference with multiple sessions and high-level keynote speakers, such as President Barack Obama, Madeline Albright and Sara Blakely, among other influencers.

Andrew worked closely with the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office and World Business Chicago on developing and executing the high-stakes visits by the Amazon delegation responsible for identifying a second headquarters for the company. Andrew led complex logistical coordination and helped to shape compelling itineraries for two separate multi-day visits.

He managed the 125th anniversary events of Viscosity Oil Company (VOC). VOC celebrated the milestone with a major event at Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History for more than 300 current and former employees and clients. Andrew also supported the planning and rollout of their re-branding strategy, which included a new logo, video work and revamped website.

He has coordinated event logistics and all headline performances for years for the Citizens United Researching Epilepsy’s (CURE) annual fundraiser, handling the arrangements and needs for performers like Paul Simon, James Taylor, Miguel Cervantes, Eddie Vedder and Jon Stewart.

Andrew was project lead on the 12th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Chicago, hosting in the U.S. for the first time 21 Nobel Peace Prize winners for a three-day, multi-venue gathering. He managed both primary conference sites as well as the transportation plan for all the Laureates and VIP delegations.

He has also been tapped by former presidents, foreign heads of state and foundation leaders to coordinate significant international advance trips in many parts of the world.

Most memorable JT moment

One of the most memorable moments was working election monitoring for The Carter Center. Traveling to places like Nepal, Guyana and Egypt for very important elections for their country and seeing how much voting means to people. We take it for granted here in the US with usually very low voter turnouts. In these countries people will literally travel hours each way just to have their vote heard. It was both inspiring and humbling to see.
