Mount Sinai Hospital, the anchor institution of Sinai Health System and longtime JT client and friend, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2019. Few institutions have been interwoven into the fabric of their community the way Sinai has in Chicago. Originally founded to serve Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe who started settling on the West Side in the late 1800s, the community around the hospital has changed many times over, but Sinai has been an anchor, consistently delivering healthcare – and hope – to those who need it most.
For the 100th anniversary, JT is a strategic partner to Sinai, helping conceptualize the name (Sinai 100: A Century of Caring for Chicago), themes, goals and tactics to celebrate this important milestone. JT helped bring the centennial website to life, which will ultimately feature 100 video and written stories from current and former caregivers, patients, current and former board members, community members, civic leaders, elected leaders and other stakeholders.
We supported a festive internal roll-out, have a robust traditional media plan in the works (see start-up Chicago Jewish News story), and will help implement two key events for Sinai during their centennial – a “100 Steps Forward” major caregiver volunteer event in the summer and a celebratory event in the fall.
