Exploring the Success of Nourishing Hope’s 2023 Annual Gala

Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry), one of the longest-operating hunger relief organizations in Chicago, is a social services organization providing food, mental wellness counseling and other social services to Chicago neighbors in need. 

JT was, once again, proud to serve as Nourishing Hope’s event management partner to assist in their efforts to raise $900,000 at their annual gala in September 2023. The event was hosted at the Geraghty in Pilsen and featured a silent auction, paddle raise, live auction, entertainment, dinner and dancing.

JT worked with Nourishing Hope on venue logistics and vendor coordination, serving as liaison to finalize every essential detail. We aided with the speaking program, including timing, flow, transitions and visual asset recommendations to ensure the program was efficient, yet engaging for the audience. JT also helped with donations logistics and coordinating deliveries to the venue in advance of the event.

We are happy to share that Nourishing Hope surpassed their initial fundraising goal and raised 1 million dollars to support their goal toward a hunger-free Chicago. Because of these generous donations, tens of thousands of Chicagoans will have more access to food, mental health counseling and other social services this holiday season.
