A New Blueprint for K-12 Schools: Vision 2030

Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications was proud to partner with leaders from education organizations across the state to launch Vision 2030, a blueprint for K-12 public education in Illinois over the next decade, at the Joint Annual Conference in Chicago on Friday, November 22. At a high- level, Vision 2030:

  • Reflects a shared belief that students learn best, and educators teach most effectively, when they feel safe and connected to one another and to their communities.

  • Provides a blueprint to enhance K-12 public education through future-focused learning, shared accountability, and predictable funding.

  • Articulates a commitment to putting systems and processes in place that support all school districts throughout the state in sharing what works for our students and our communities.

  • Details plans to advance policy, legislative and fiscal solutions, leverage public resources, and preserve local flexibility and leadership so that the best decisions are made closest to home.

Notably, JT was enlisted to create a video to launch the announcement of Vision 2030 and secure media stories that uplifted the initiative.
